“Years teach more than books”

– Italian Proverb

I actually knew who it was, but I wrote it on google to remember it, then I accidentally wrote over it >_< So I searched it (the quote) in google, but all it was was an Italian Proverb! So I don’t know anymore who said it.

I am fascinated by quotes… you get them EVERYWHERE. In newspapers, especially, obviously. In the middle of an article to quote something already said, a line along the bottom of the page of quotes from people….. mid air “quotation” symbols…

And what fascinates me MOST is that they usually are true – and it makes you actually think.

In my planner/diary thing (you get a new one each year on the first day of school) there is quotes along the left hand pages at the bottom, on the righth and bottom there is facts.

Here are some:

“I will not condemn you for what you did yesterday, if you do it right today” – Sheldon S Maye

“Better to ask twice than to lose your way once” – Danish Proverb

“One who smiles rather than angers us always stronger” – Chinese Wisdom

“Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there” – Will Rodgers

and my own personal quote: “If you say life is pointless, life will think pointless of you”

Hehe, I made it up ^_^ Hopefully no one else has said it! *clings to my personal quote*

THINK PINK

Why did I write think pink? Yes, that was pretty random, but after thinking of personal quotes, I thought of personal digs, which made me think of Think Pink – and because every girl should. End of ^_^ I have had Lisa Clark’s Think Pink and Beauty*licious books for over a year now, and they have really helped me. I got to meet Lisa Clark last year at the book festival, and she was fab – uber fab.

I love just reading Think Pink, whenever, so I really recommend it 😀

Ciao for now! x
